Addiction Rescue Inc. is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation and an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
We accept no money or anything of value from any treatment facility, provider, laboratory, or insurer. No one pays us to send them clients. We are funded entirely by donations.

Governance
Addiction Rescue Inc. is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The board meets annually and keeps written minutes of its proceedings.
Board of Directors: Brian Burgess, President and Chief Executive Officer. Yunlang Shu, Chief Financial Officer. Zhi (Cici) Burgess, Secretary.
The board has adopted a conflict of interest policy, a whistleblower policy, a document retention and destruction policy, a code of conduct, and financial control procedures. Directors sign an annual conflict of interest disclosure.
Financial Stewardship
Addiction Rescue Inc. is funded by donations. We accept no payment, referral fee, commission, or anything of value from any treatment facility, provider, laboratory, or insurer. That independence is what allows us to recommend what is right for a person rather than what is profitable for us.
We file Form 990-N with the Internal Revenue Service and Form RRF-1 with the California Attorney General every year, and our filings are current. Governing documents, board minutes, and financial records are available on request.
